The school year is over meaning the brats are coming out of the wood works. Where the club cracks down on under-age foolishness, but most importantly, the world unknown becomes a bit more...Pretty.
Hey everyone! I've been changing the layout of the site to better explain it to new members, as well as giving them more guidance instead of plopping them down and letting them run wild. I've also moved a few boards and edited a couple. Thanks for the cooperation through this!

Been awhile!
I feel like I've been neglecting our news bar! Well anywho, if you haven't noticed our new mod line-up is Kima Wolf. And myself, Laylei as the Admin.

So, everyone seems to have moved into everything rather nicely. I am very happy to see almost the whole active TSW community here on these forums.
First off, I would like say Thank You!, this move has been incredibly smooth and pain free, and I would just like to thank everyone for that. I really appreciate it. And you guys rock!
Now, on to more pressing matters;
1) My love, you all know that I love you, very very much. And I just love RPing, Gming with you guys, etc. But, at that same time, I can't make threads and RP all the time. Therefore, I would like to see more threads popping up. I know everyone has all these ideas, hell you tell me about them all the time.
Yet when I go on, after sleeping I see absolutely no posts, yet I see people in chatzy asking for RP! Let me get one thing clear; I made this site for you guys, and I PAID for this awesome layout. I gave you the tools for RP - Do not, not use them.
'What does this mean, Laylei ?' - It simply means, I have not seen a new RP since Azra took the initiative (thankyou, Azra), and made 'Offering of Osolomon', or Squiver's (Thankyou Squiv)To the Summit of Mt. Pontoosuc. No, I'm not asking for everyone to spam with RPs of their no, heck no, that just leads to threads killing one another. It's going into I would like to see one or two threads popping up, instead of just the ones I create. Which leads me into my second note.
2) Lovey doveys, Darlings, sweeties, lovers. - I like to think I am a nice admin, friendly, not too much of a hard-ass. Am I wrong ? Someone please riddle me that.
Therefore, this is a RP site, and we're trying to become a nice, enjoyable one. Which actually needs posting...And I have been noticing when there's posting occurring...It's about three sentences.
Oh, I get it. You're off that day, sure I fully understand, it's cool. But I refuse to have multiple people write me three or so sentences and post it. We do not have a post requirement, I realize this. I don't want to have to implement one. But I will If I'm pushed.
So. To rectify this situation, I'll put what I think is an appropriate post.

That my darlings, is what I find to be a 'perfect' post. It's not a book, but it's not three sentences either. I'm sure some of you are freaking out thinking that it's long, but actually read it. Half of it, is just describing what the person is feeling, what he's thinking, and some description of the setting. Then dialogue. I don't think that's too much to ask, now is it ? If so, leave a reply, and I'll address the comment or concern.
"Is this a rule, Laylei, to follow that size ?" No, but If I continue to see short posts, I am not afraid of making it one. I admit, I have done those posts too, It's fine, I understand, but I've been working on getting longer, and quite frankly I have. We're all learning and growing, this is a growing process. Besides, most sites force you to have ridiculously long posts, be happy we aren't one of those sites.
3) Now this one...This one kind of gets to me. Joining a RP, then disappearing. Oh sweet lord jesus, this is my pet peeve.
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, don't do this to threads here. Do NOT join a thread, and just up and go inactive for four days, while the thread goes inactive along with you, because you didn't post.
'But Lay, I have nothing to post.' - Well you should, if it's your turn. You're truly not obligated to post in a thread, until it's your turn.
This what I like to call, 'The Posting Cycle', here's an example; Laylei Posts; Tom Posts; Squiver posts. Therefore Laylei would post after Squiver, Tom would post after Laylei, Squiver would post after Tom for those visual learners it's - Laylei --> Tom --> Squiver--> Laylei --> Tom --> Squiver. So on so forth. If someone hops into a thread, that's fine, just fit him in.
Example; Diego joins, posts after Laylei, but before Tom...Therefore - Laylei --> Diego --> Tom --> Squiver, so on so forth. Please do not go inactive in threads without notifying the head of that thread. I'll be making an AFK thread in the OOC boards, after this is posted; USE IT, if you're going AFK.
And that's my rant. I don't think these rules are hard to follow nor do I think they are too much to ask - If you think so, be my guest and reply with your issue and I'll try and rethink my idea or explain to you it, I am here to learn just along with you.
Oh, quick note; we are obviously becoming a more broad RP site -We might get RPers who are not as familiar with TSW as we are, please try to help them out! Teach them, get them excited in TSW the game, but please do not force it upon them. Everyone here is different, and we must try to accommodate each type of RPer.
If you know any sites that are looking or want to be affiliates, feel free to give them our banner. They'll likely give you their's in which just PM me and I'll put it in our nifty Affiliate's banner, which is on the lower left of the site.
But yea...That's about it. I love you all, and this is solely to improve the forums itself. I hope everyone likes the new site, and don't forget to reply to this thread to state that you've read this and understand it.

Ok, after i learn more i will try and think as many rp's as i can i'm on pretty much all of my time because i am at a computer most of my time, so in that time i will learn and create its gonna be fun
It all sounds fine, most of the time I actually end up RPing with myself as few people even bother to say hi. Is The Asian Girl that scarey?

You know, part of me would like to see that just to see it accomplished. However, another part of me thinks best not. Would not be too hygenic and potentially smelly.
Anyrate. Back on topic, this actually be my first post here so I guess its appropriate. I am rather in and out of various things meaning my possibility of RP is remote. However never let it be said that I fully endorse this site, since it began under its old management. And since the new regime is also a friendly and cool one, and I still know most of them, I shall continue to support it. Also I shall not hesitate to rouse any activity if possible from any Ouroboros members and let them know of the current changes. Mind be warned, our boards been a skeleton crew lately so they may not even see my posts.
And just to say, if any of my cabal members who come here do not behave themselves you know you can contact me to help resolve it.

However, point nr 3, to join and then disappear. I personally live a very hectic life and I might be absent for days without Internet access or time to contribute). As a precaution, I will therefore not join RP-threads with a lot of activity.
