Templar New York Headquarters, 11:00pm
Deilan sat inside the office of his handler, Mrs. Bellaum. She was definitely British, almost up tight British. She had wire brim glasses which hung at the edge of her nose and wore a black pin stripe business suit. She sat behind a large Mahogany desk that had every paper organized in its proper place. She drummed her fingers on the desk as a young man, wearing military fatigue pants and a hoodie walked into her office, headphones blaring in his ears.
“Mr. Jones, please do sit down.” she said, looking over the various papers on her desk, shuffling them around.
He nodded and sat down in one of the large leather chairs opposite the desk. He leaned back, head down as he bobbed his head to the music that blared into his ears.
“There is a club in Manhattan. It is called “The Underground.”” She said and slid a piece of paper to him. It had a photo of the club, as well as of its owner along with directions. “This club, while being supposedly “upscale” even though it plays that dreadful music. It also has certain... advantages. It is a central hub for all the organizations to go to, supposedly free of violence. We'd like someone to enter it again. A younger Templar, someone who can keep an eye on the place for us.” She said.
He nodded and stood up, photo in hand. “Anything else?”
“Yes, do be careful, we believe it is an Illuminati front, knowing who the owner is, so be on your guard. That's all Deilan.” she said. He nodded and walked out the door, closing it behind him.
Two hours later...
He arrived at the entrance to the club, baggy black pants and sweat shirt top. He felt extremely out of place as he looked around the line at all the well dressed people around him.
“Well, a bit more upscale than I anticipated...” he said and turned to leave. He arrived an hour later in black khaki pants, Armani shoes and a black dress shirt with a dark red tie. He still had his earbuds in as he stood in line, feeling a bit more in place. The club security looked him over, nose crinkling up and almost turned him away.
“Oh yes, I forgot!” he said, showing a VIP pass. The security guard grunted, and thumbed him into the club proper. He entered and was immediately hit with the strong vibrations of the bass from the music. The beat thumped, rattling his chest as he looked around at the crowds which all seemed to be into the music, there was another group, which seemed to be at the bar. That's where he would begin. So he walked over to the bar and sat down. He looked at the small group, and gave them a head nod then turned back to the bartender. “Cola please.” he said casually.
(Templars feel free to recognize him, sorta. And if you want any kind of rivalry, let me know)

When the young man addressed her, Giorgia blushed involuntary. She couln't help it: she was naturally shy and not used to be in the middle of a group.
And the room is very hot, she thought, as a way to justify herself. Actually she was sweating hard.
"Oh. Eh. No, nevermind, I mean, yes, no problem for a little chat."
She smiled, trying to seem not completely stupid. "I am just arrived... No... wrong verb... I meant... I HAVE just arrived here, and I am still feeling the effects of the... the jet lag, so to speak."
Easy, girl!! Don't rush! These two probably are not Templars. And even if they were, no sense in spilling your beans just two secs after meeting them. Remember what your local coordinator said regarding the other societies.
"I was just talking with Toran, here, about our past experiences. Well, mostly about HIS experiences. I am... sort of a newbie in the field. My name is Giorgia Martini, and I come from Italy."
She blushed again. "But I am sure you already guessed that from my horrible accent. My English is definitely rusty. Paradoxically, I am more at ease with ancient languages which no one speaks anymore... at least no one can notice my terrible pronunciation!"

Well if it's okay with the lady here it's okay with me. Toran sounded sincere and besides, he had not said something that could be used against him if they were from other societies. He had no intentions of doing that in the first place either. Also he were used to big groups he had been in the armed forces after all.
Toran took another sip from his beer and then gave a friendly smile. He then came to think of how Giorgia had acted and leaned a bit forward saying so just she were able to hear it.
Hey, if you don't want to, it's fine. You seem a bit shy. Toran leaned back and gave her a gently smile, more like an adult would give a child than flirting and still without being annoying.
Toran tried to hide it and did pretty well but he needed a cigarette, yet he wanted to be polite. He had a whole family that had raised him like that after all. He took another sip of the beer to "push down" the need and then leaned back.
Torans phone rang, playing the song "Diary of Jane". He just took it up and looked at for a second, then with a sigh turned it to "soundless". He had not heard it at first so it managed to almost play through.

Inside the club, those observant, or standing by the restrooms would notice several well dressed men moving through a off limits door and locking it behind them. Only those with super senses of some sort would hear the gunfire and screams of the dying thieves, unless you happened to be outside. Inside, the music was so loud and bass so heavy that bullets really didn't sound into the building nor did screeching tires.

Daiyu's Sam Adams was halfway to her mouth when she noticed what was going on. Casually taking a slow draw from the Cherry Wheat she adored she leaned back in her chair and propped her size 6 1/2 foot in the seat next to her.
Angling just right so she could watch the "work" of her ex-coworkers she smirked slightly before deciding to get up and go to the door to listen. A snicker fell from her lips as she heard the gunfire and she merely shook her head as she finished off the brew.
Paying her tab she left alone as usual and threw a leg over her Nightster, adjusted her ipod letting Godsmack's "Alive" blare into her ears and pulled away from the club with a laugh at whatever just happened to throw them all in a tizzy.

Hecate
"Quite a nice name to be given by other people. A goddess, if I'm not mistaken."
She chuckled under her breath, twisting and untwisting the cap of her bottle as she did so. Falling silent, she allowed Tanuki to continue, making note of his accent and his facial features;for future reference, naturally.
"Don't worry about the accent; there's plenty of people that aren't native to New York hanging around the club. Myself, I'm not from here..originally, anyway." When Tanuki turned his back on her, she gave the back of his head a brief glare that could burn a hole in metal before switching on the charm. Looking at the people he had turned to-Gigoria and Toran- she gave them a smile before sipping at her disappearing water.
"I was just talking with Toran, here, about our past experiences. Well, mostly about HIS experiences. I am... sort of a newbie in the field. My name is Giorgia Martini, and I come from Italy."
Well that would explain the accent and the so-called 'jet lag'. For a moment, Hecate looked Gigoria up-and-down as if sizing her up before she went back to drinking her water. As she brought it up to her mouth, she noticed that it was empty.
"Hmm, Gigoria, was it?Well, welcome to New York. I trust that the people here have been cordial enough. As for being a newbie, everyone has to start somewhere. I know I did." Hearing Toran's ringtone, her neck snapped in his direction, surprise obvious on her face before she visibly relaxed again. Her temporary relaxation disappeared as she noticed the subtle changes in the security guards, which immediately put her on edge."I hope I'm not being paranoid, but it looks like the guards seem..tense. Well, tenser than usual."

Giorgia smiled to the girl. “Thank you for the welcome” she said. “The name is Giorgia, not Gigoria… jee-ohr-jee-ah, I mean… Like “Georgia on my mind” by Ray Charles, only with the “I” and not the “E”. She blushed slightly, and other sweat beads appeared on her forehead. She noticed that Hecate’s glass was empty, and refilled it with fresh water. “Well, it’s true I am a newbie” she said. “And I think I will remain a newbie in my heart for my whole life. It seems so… unnatural, sometimes, so… strange… and…”
She suddenly stopped talking. Her eyes became larger, her pupils transformed into two deep pools of black ice. The security guards were moving toward the exits in that exact moment, but Giorgia did not notice. She placed an hand over her abdomen, like she was feeling an intense pain. “Deaths” she murmured, in a deep and strange voice, with an accent which was partly Italian, partly something else. “Many deaths. Very near. The pain… is calling me… Dio, non riesco a resistere…”
Then Giorgia disappeared.
A micro-second before she was there, talking, leaning against the bar counter. A micro-second after, she was not there anymore. Air rushed to fill the empty space with an audible “bang”.

"I hope I'm not being paranoid, but it looks like the guards seem..tense. Well, tenser than usual."
As Hecate said this Tanuki followed her gaze towards the guards to see what she meant. "Think so?", he answered with an uncertainty that already implied he had no idea what she was talking about. He continued to look at them for a few seconds. They do seem tense, he thought, ... but, what the hell, they're guards, they're supposed to be tense. Turning back now he just said "I dunno..." when he heard Giorgia mumbling something he couldn't quite fathom and disappear into thin air with a fancy bang that sounded like a giant popping balloon. After he stared at the place where she stood just seconds ago with a puzzled look on his face, he just burst out in laughter. "Hahahahaa, nan nandarou? Does she do that regularly? Oh I love theatrical effects! As he was wiping the tears out of his eyes, he took another sip from his drink and asked, still giggling: "What's wrong with this girl...?" He sure didn't give a damn whether there were mundane people in the club who may have noticed the disappearance of Giorgia.

Don't look at me. I don't know where she went, but she seems to do that from time to time. Toran took another sip from his beer. Guess she may have work to do... I just hope she don't end up in some kind of strange place. The last were more of a mumble, not really because he were trying to hide anything he were simply half burried in thought.
He looked at the guards for a bit, it didn't seem to bother him much though. They could start a shootout for all he cared. Also the noise didn't seem to bother him that much.
So where are you guys from, oh but first, may I ask you your names? Toran said with a smile, slightly forced.

Hecate gave the woman a blank stare before smiling and nodding her head, only having paid half the attention she should have when she'd been speaking.Something about Ray Charles.. Before she had a chance to reply Giogia suddenly wasn't there, gone with a little 'bang'. For a moment she simply stared at the spot she had been before looking between Tanuki and Toran.
"What's wrong with this girl...?"
"Oh hell, if Laylei saw that she'd be having a fit right now. Not everyone here is in the know...I must have a word with her about that." She appeared to be more concerned with Laylei's possible reaction rather than the fact someone had vanished into thin air before her eyes.
So where are you guys from, oh but first, may I ask you your names?
Her pale lips turned upwards in a smirk as she settled her flat brown eyes on Toran.
"You're a curious one, aren't you? And such interesting company you keep as well..curiouser and curiouser." A thoughtful look settled on her face as she mentally debated whether or not to tell him. Deciding that he would figure it out eventually, she relented and opened her mouth to speak"I'm from not here, that's for certain. Hecate's the name, at least that's what everyone calls me. The crazy man next to us is Tanuki."

Well I'll take that as a compliment. Toran smiled a bit. My name is Toran and I'm from Denmark. Speaking of a group chat, you still up for it or did the guards moving around and Giorgia disappearing take back that offer?
He leaned over and took another sip from his beer, he didn't seem to mind people knowing him. Even though there were a chance that some people would work against "The Order". His necklace, that hit the glass as he leaned forward with a small clink, also kinda gave him away either that or he were a devoted Christian.
He leaned back again and looked at the two. He didn't look as he would get offended if they pulled back their offer. He didn't seem to mean any harm at all though.

"Oh, Laylei! Right, that was her name!", Tanuki remarked as he heard Hecate talk about her. "Does she really mind people going... you know... pouf?", he asked, gesturing with his hands in an exploding motion.
My name is Toran and I'm from Denmark. Speaking of a group chat, you still up for it or did the guards moving around and Giorgia disappearing take back that offer?
"Nope, offer still available... Hey, I know a guy from Denmark... I guess... or actually... No it's germany I think. But it's close!" Tanuki's eyes shortly flashed to the pendant tinkling against the glass and continued smiling. "Do you believe in god?", he just asked bluntly.

Glad to hear it. Toran made a smile. Indeed Germany is our neighbors and we are rather a like. I can understand how you could get it mixed up. He took another sip from his beer and took a deep breath afterwards. Looking a bit thoughtful for a second before continuing.
As a matter of fact I used to be. Then I realized how little god actually would help his people. I believe there is something greater than us but if that something had a son named Jesus and watch over us I'm not so sure. Toran made a small chuckle after having said so, then leaned back, placing himself in a position so he could watch the others.
I got to admit you picked a heavy topic to start off with. What about you then? Buddhism or Taoism perhaps? We should not keep the lady out of the conversation of course. He made a nod to Hecate and gave her a smile. Rather charming actually, enough to make your average girl blush, but perhaps she was made of a stronger stuff. Even with Torans smile it didn't seem like his intentions were to flirt a lot, perhaps he were trying too hard to be polite.

Hecate shrugged her thin shoulders; truth be told it made her even more curious to speak to the man who calls himself Toran.
"I've seen and done stranger things, believe me." She chuckled under her breath at the thought before sipping at her water bottle, which was beginning to run dry. Her flat brown eyes darted to the necklace danging from his neck ; it would seem we have a devotee in our presence.
"Oh, Laylei! Right, that was her name!"..."Does she really mind people going... you know... pouf?"
"I would imagine so, but hey I'm not her so I can't say with 100% certainty."When God was suddenly mentioned, she had to suppress a cough"What I meant to say was, no comment." Sipping at her water, she flashed a look that clearly said 'what is wrong with your face' at Toran before giving another shrug of her shoulders."Oh, don't mind me; I'm just here for the water."
