Kima arrived home at his warehouse alone, and let out a sigh. "I do miss those days of having people run around..." he said quietly as he took the mail that was gathered at his doorstep. He looked through them, bills, bills bills... One letter caught his eye.
"huh..." he said and stepped into his home. It was sparse now, hardly decorated and looked as if perhaps no one lived here at all anymore. He opened the letter and frowned deeply, grabbing his jacket and running back out to his motorcycle.
a few moments later...
He arrived at the club and completely bypassed the line. Now was not the time to wait. He eyed the new guards, who at first had given him the eye, but stepped aside, much to the dismay of the other patrons in line.
With a purpose he walked up the stairs to the second floor and pressed the intercom button. He knew this would be difficult, but for now he had no choice.
"Laylei. It's me Kima... I need to talk to you, it is important." he said calmly and waited.

Laylei was not drunk. She was perhaps slightly buzzed, but certainly she was not heavily intoxicated. It was only mid-morning anyway after all, a few vodka shots to wake her up was naturally the appropriate thing to do. It gave a different hop in her step.
So to her dismay as she walked around the house lazily, Lay heard 'the voice'. That's what Lay and Kaylei had been referring to Kima as. 'Him', or 'It', taking out any sort of humanizing factor in that man. Call it a coping mechanize, it worked damnit.
Laylei had sloppily sauntered up to the intercom nearest to her, which was the one in the kitchen. She held the talk button as she slurred out her speech. "Thank you for calling gamestop, where we buy and sell used games. This is Laylei how can I help you ?"
She was not drunk!

"Thank you for calling gamestop, where we buy and sell used games. This is Laylei how can I help you ?"
He sighed as she make her drunken slur. She was playing with him, obviously enjoying it and he was slightly annoyed about the entire ordeal.
"Laylei, this isn't a game it's important alright. Now, open the door for me and i'll talk to you in person, or i'll use the override codes I had programed into the security that I know you didn't have changed yet, cause you're you. So let me in please."

Laylei blinked into the intercom, voice going in and out as she jeered into the machine loudly. "Duntchu get all high and mighty with me, asshole! I can has you killed at anytime! Cause I am me!...Laylei...Something! I dunno, I forget. But yea! ME!"
Stepping away from the intercom she flipped the device the middle finger and staggered towards the living room area, as she flopped onto one of the sofas in a drunken coma.

Kima sighed and shook his head muttering. He punched in the code "LAYEI WOLF" in numerals and the door beeped open. He closed it as he stepped up to the second floor now. with a resounding sigh he walked towards the suite that he once lived in from time to time and opened the door.
There she was, sitting there drunk as hell on the couch. He looked around the walked over to her and sat beside her, looking at her intently.
"I need your help. I have some.. immigration issues. Seems the Dragon wants to see how I react, so they won't help me. I told immigration you were my wife, and Kaylei my adopted daughter...." He said and reached to take her hand in his.
"They will come over to see me tomorrow, I need you to come home." He said. "This game went on long enough. Come home with me, help me. You know i don't ask for help, but this time i am. come back with me."

Laylei just sat there and stared at the man. Half drunk and not sure if she was going to vomit or just giggle. Oh how delicious! Kima finally running back to her like she had always called on. Half the security team now owed her a good portion of their paychecks on that wager.
Flipping her hair back, Lay let out a loud and resounding laugh as she flopped back onto the couch. "Ohhhh how ironic, Darling! Mister big-fucking-deal is now running back to little ol me! But not because of love, or y'know important shit. But because the immigration are gonna look at your narrow eyes and know for sure you don't have your papers!"
At her own joke, Laylei dissolved into a fit of giggles.

Kima sighed, he figured she would react this way. Irrational, slightly emotional and annoyed all at the exact same time. But at the end of the day he didn't blame her, at least not fully.
"Look, I wouldn't be here if I didn't love you still Laylei. I could easily go and find some woman off the streets, pay her, and had been done with it. But I didn't. Instead I came to see you first. Why? Because I still do care about you, and i'd help you without questions asked. But at the end of the day I also assumed we could try to work things out as well." he said.
"So, lets go to bed, you can sleep off your drunkenness, then we can go back home and take care of this matter." he said calmly with a slight smile on his face.

Was this man stupid ? Did he not comprehend Lay's obvious rejections ? Sure, she was drunk, but even in a drunken state she still had made her mind up quite a long time ago. She'd not let herself get trapped stupidly into this situation, no.
Lay shook her head, eye-brows furrowed. "No, I don't think you understand, Darling. There is no, 'we' or 'us', not anymore. I will help you with your immigration shit, but I there's not going to be an 'us'. No darling, I have put too much work and effort into things to let myself revert into the weak past."

kima frowned and leaned forward to try and kiss Laylei. He'd not push things too far, but he was determined to not give up, not without trying.
“You cannot tell me I didn't try. I had gotten kidnapped, and had memory loss. I am here now though.” He said and leaned forward to try to hug her.
“You know you still love me, as I love you. We had an issue, but we can work through it if you try at least. Yes, my true reason for coming was to come see you, be with you. I miss you. So try to work things out with me please. I need you still." I said. I had laid it out all."

Lay leaned back, half disgusted and half nauseous from the amount of alcohol she had consumed and Kima's pass at her. Something about all of it, just felt phony. He needs her for something, nothing before had prompted such talks and emotions from him before, but him needing her help prompted it. Fucking user.
Laylei slide off the couch as elegantly as her drunken mind-set could guide her. She had pushed down a lamp, trying to stop herself from just falling completely onto the floor. She let out groan as she turned to look at Kima, her eyes unfocused but narrowed. "Out."
