Giorgia entered the main room, trying to adjust her eyes to the low light and her ears to the high music. Great she thought. Dozens of people, I know no one, and I still have no idea of why the Great Powers would need me here. At last I hope the drinks are good. She walked to the bar. “Uhm” she said to the bartender. “Something non alcoholic… a cocktail. Yes. Maybe with some fruit. Good. Thank you. Cash? Oh. Wait” Giorgia fumbled inside her pockets. Obviously she did not have American currency. “Euros are good, yes? I should have something here… No, this is my laundry receipt… the shopping list… oh, here we are.” Holding her filled glass, she walked cautiously towards an empty table. Magical energies are very high here she thought, feeling the hairs on her arms quiver slightly. She felt the delicate tendrils of mystical forces dancing around her, courtesy of so many people with arcane powers. Templars, Dragon and Illuminati. Giorgia closed her eyes, feeling the flow, the music, and waited.

Toran took his wallet and dropped the cash on the bar when he got his beer. They didn't have any danish as he had expected but it had been worth a try.
He then proceeded to swing around on the barstool and lean up against the bar while taking a rather big "sip" from his beer. Looking around at the crowd while doing so. Laughing once in a while at those who tried to score a girl and fail miserably. He was not the best himself, nor did he care that should not stop him from laughing at others failing. He drank some more of his beer. He then leaned over and placed it on the bar and proceeded to take a cigarette from the pack he kept inside his jacket. He light it up and took a drag from it, blowing out some smoke rings with a smile on his face.
Cigarettes and beer, one of the best combinations right? He said to a person sitting beside him that just gave a quick nod.
He took another long drag from it before leaning back and take another sip from his beer. Working his way down to the bottom rather quickly.
After a couple of minutes he was done with both the beer and his cigarette. Toran then jumped down from the barstool and walked over towards the tables, he then found Giorgia and sat down by her table.
You know, according to my father you are a real saint, you don't smoke or drink. According to me, you are a rather interesting character, as said before. You don't drink or dance and you don't seem to know anyone. Yet you hang out at a nightclub, you also seem to just have arrived since you haven't exchanged to dollars yet. So you got me curious. There were not a sign of threat in Torans voice, but there were of interest.

"Drunk already, and you haven't even hit the bar yet?Laylei would be overjoyed.", the woman he had rushed by answered and Tanuki smiled a little wider when he looked to the side and saw his ordered drink standing right next to him. "If only...", he replied, while rummaging about in the pockets of his cargo shorts to look for the right currency. He was quite certain they won't accept japanese Yen here. When he found a bunch of crumpled five-dollar bills he just put two of them on the bar, grabbed his drink and turned to Hecate. "I'm just a mite nuts.", he explained with a smile that could make one unsure whether he was telling the truth or joking around. "Do you know what's been going on here lately? Haven't been here for ... some time now.", he asked, as he was taking a sip from his drink.

Giorgia frowned slightly. She did not know it was allowed to smoke inside the club. “Oh, well” she said, blushing. “A saint I am not. Nor a drinker… nor a dancer, actually. I am a librarian. My field of knowledge is the research. I provide information.” Remembering that Toran had spoken about Templars, she felt free to add some details about herself: “I have been recruited three years ago. I have been to London just one time, for my initiation… but usually I have not many contact with operative agents on the field.” She sipped her cocktail, looking around. “And about being just arrived… well, it’s SO true. I was in my apartment in Italy just fifteen minutes ago”. She smiled. “The Great Mister Scott of Cosmic Star Trek has beamed me down here without asking for my permission. Usually this means trouble, for me, for the Society, or for someone near me.” Giorgia smiled. “Last time I disapperared without warning from my home, I materialized in Himalaya in a nest of Snow Vipers. Took me three days to kill them all and to return home. Now I cannot yet sense why I have been sent here. I can just imagine that someone needs me and my knowledge.”

Libarian huh? Well... So you... Toran coughed a bit. You teleported here? Well I guess its not much stranger than a lot of other stuff I've seen. He made a small smile. That explains why you don't have the right currency I guess. I'm a... Soldier... You could call it. Toran laughed a bit. I don't know many people around here and none of them seems to be in need of assistance, at least not important enough to make a person come all the way from Italy. He leaned back in his chair and looked a bit thoughtful. Well I'm starting to figure you out, I think you are a Templar. If that indeed is true, I guess I could try and help you out.
Toran slowly stood up. In any case, I need another beer, can I get you anything? He made a quick smile and waited for response.

Hecate
Turning from the bartender who had handed her the bottled water she'd ordered, she turned to raise her eyebrows at the self-proclaimed 'nut'. He looked to be your typical 20-something club-goer; like almost everyone else in the club, save for the possible Faction members that hung close to the bar, and the few that were scattered across the dance floor.
"Apparently." Hecate responded, tipping the water bottle back to sip at its contents before twisting the cap back on."But then again, that could be said about half the people in here, myself included."
"Do you know what's been going on here lately? Haven't been here for ... some time now."
"My concern isn't with the club, but the goings on outside its walls; I wish I could tell you more, but my job has kept me away on business." One could almost hear the quote marks around the word 'job'; the truth was she hadn't held a legitimate job since she'd been in high school, and that had been ages now-the exact number was becoming a distant blur in her mind.

Giorgia did not answered immediately, like she was lost in her thought. Actually she was listening to the music, mesmerized by the flashing lights in the dancing rooms. She did not like very much this kind of places. Too many people, too much noise, and it was hot. Small beads of sweat were already rolling down her chin and towards her neckline. If I am to remain here longer, I will need a shower she thought.
Finally she seemed to realize that the young man... Toran was his name... was talking to her. "Uh". She said. "Sorry... I was... distracted. Yes, I am a Templar too, although I usually am not directly involved in the fights. My teleportation power is a bit erratic. Obviously it wants me here for some reason, so I think i will stay here until I discover it!"
She waved an hand trying to get some fresh air. She felt that her t-shirt was sticking to her body. "Actually a cold beer would be very appreciated... but something not very strong, if possible. My mighty powers do NOT include resistance to alcohol!"

Toran nodded and laughed a bit, he honestly never have given how strong a beer were much thought. A beer were a beer in his eyes, though a danish one were the best. He didn't say it out loud and simply walked up to the bar and without yelling raised his voice and leaned a bit forward to make sure the bartender heard him.
Two cold beers! Not too strong!
He got them a short while after and walked down to the table and placed one in front of Giorgia and one in front of the seat he would take himself but a few seconds after.
He took took pack of cigarettes and got one out then stopped halfway before turning it on and lifted his head.
Oh thats right, you don't smoke... Toran said with a smile and stuffed the cigarette inside the pack again and the pack and lighter inside his jacket. He then leaned forward and took a sip from his beer. Toran stood up again and took off his jacket and placed it on the backrest of the chair. It looked a bit heavy, clearly there were more than just a lighter and a pack of cigarettes in it.
He were now wearing just a simple white T-shirt and his golden cross necklace were a lot more visible. He seemed to be only sweating slightly and it were not completely obvious.
So how do you expect going around finding out why you are here, if I may ask? Toran asked after having sat himself down again.

Tanuki"My concern isn't with the club, but the goings on outside its walls; I wish I could tell you more, but my job has kept me away on business.""Ah, now now, that's not much of an answer, is it?", Tanuki replied laughing. "My 'duties' keep me on the run as well, but, I think, I will stay here a while... Screw them."He grabbed his drink again and drank out half of it at once now, before going on: "Well you can't tell me what you say you don't know, can you? So, instead, just tell me, what's your name, tall girl? I'm Tanuki. Yoroshiku."Now he reached out to shake hands with the 'tall girl'. Calling her that didn't seem so curious to him, as she indeed was taller than him.

Hecate
Hecate chuckled darkly as she tapped out a random tune on the bar top; the noise was lost in the thumping beat coming from the dance floor, cluttered with gyrating bodies. She paid them no mind, and instead kept her flat brown eyes fixed on the man speaking to her.A strange on, to be sure.
" 'On the run';not quite. If anything, it's just the opposite." Voicing her thoughts aloud, she fell silent as she took another sip from her rapidly draining water bottle."Traveling is a pain, and I avoid it as much as I can."
"Well you can't tell me what you say you don't know, can you? So, instead, just tell me, what's your name, tall girl? I'm Tanuki. Yoroshiku."
" Tanuki, hmm?Interesting." World-weary eyes settled on the extended hand, obvious distrust dancing across her face for a moment. Paranoia screamed and clawed through her brains, warning her not to shake hands. As he said..screw it. Grasping his hand, Tanuki would find that her hand was cold to the touch"I'm Hecate, at least that's what everyone calls me."

Giorgia took the glass of beer and sipped it. It was great, not too strong, but cold and refreshing.
"Mmm... good question" she nodded, answering to Toran. "How will I be able to find why I am here?"
She smiled. "Well, usually I find myself exactly where I am needed. Sometimes too much exactly on the spot, like last time with the Snow Vipers. So maybe it's the same thing here. And this would mean that I am here to help you. Are you here for some specific mission? I am a poor fighter, but I am a decent source of information. Maybe the Powers Who Are have decided that you need some specific details, and they have decided to send you an human Google engine like me."
The girl looked around. There were a man and a tall girl near them, near enough to hear their conversation. "Or maybe I am here for someone else. Who knows?"
Giorgia lifted the glass. "Cheers, by the way. Very good beer!"

Toran laughed a bit, in a friendly tone though.
Well I don't think I need help, I just finished my last job. Well just and just, the trip from the place took a while. Toran gave a half smile, he were alright at hiding his true feelings. Yet the constant sadness in the corner of his eyes were almost always visible, though in the flashing lights it would be harder to see.
I do have an awful lot of nightmares, I doubt that would send someone all the way from Italy though. It has been going on for a long time, yet ever since my encounter with that witch... Thing, its been getting worse. I killed her though so it can't be that, right? Toran made a small smile and looked a bit thoughtful for a second as if trying to remember something, he then snapped out of it.
Oh and cheers and you are welcome. Shame I could not get you a danish one, they are a lot better. Toran lifted his glass and drank some of it, a little more than a sip.

Giorgia seemed unfocussed, almost distracted, while playing with the beer glass around her fingers, sipping slowly.
"Oh, well, I am sure that Danish beer is great... Problem is, I am not a connoisseur, so I would not be able to appreciate the subtle differences, and..."
But actually she was listening, and when Toran said "witch", her eyes snapped up. She let go the glass on the table. Luckily it did not break, but the "thud" sound seemed very loud.
"Witch" she said, as it was a dirty word. "Witch. Dreams. Often these things are connected".
Her pupils suddenly turned very big and very, very black. "Let me understand." she said, in a distant voice, as if she was reading a book, or checking a computer inside her head. "You have met a witch, you killed her, and now you have bad nightmares... right? And this... witch... was by any chance in South-Central Asia? Iran? Pakistan? Afghanistan?"
Suddenly Giorgia blushed, breaking the almost hypnotic trance. "I am sorry" she said, flickering her eyes. "I did not mean to stick my nose in your matters. Forgive me."

Toran smiled again and made a small nod.
You are forgiven. Actually I don't mind at all, if I had interest keeping it from the world I would not have said anything. I'm amazed you want to know about it to be honest. He took another sip from the beer. Then made a short but friendly laugh.
Although you might want to be careful with that glass of yours eh? He smiled again with a hint of a slight tease in it. He seemed to have noticed the fact she almost dropped her glass.
Well back on topic then. Yes, she were from Afghanistan and not easy to take down to be honest.
Toran let a hand run through his rather short hair while he leaned back in the chair. He held his eyes on Giorgia but not in a creepy way, more to be polite.

"I'm Hecate, at least that's what everyone calls me."
"Hahaha, I hear ya... ", he laughed until he continued: "Quite a nice name to be given by other people. A goddess, if I'm not mistaken." Tanuki's knowledge of mythology was set up on a broad field but not very deeply usually, so he just associated her name with some greek goddess without knowing any further detail. "Opposite of 'on the run'...", he said, thinking about what he told her earlier, "... I meant more like 'on travels', if you know what I mean. You can hear at my accent, I'm not a native speaker. I slip my tongue over the choice of words sometimes." Finishing his Gin and Tonic with one last draw, Tanuki pushed the glass away from him, now just asking for a bottle of 'Desperados', a beer flavoured with Tequilla. He took the bottle and opened it, facing Hecate again, by just holding his hand over the bottle cap and seemingly just pulling it off.
"Are you two up for a group chat?", he asked, without a warning turning half around to Giorgia and Toran who sat nearby and completely ignoring whether Hecate wanted to take part in a 'group chat' or not.
