"I got to admit you picked a heavy topic to start off with. What about you then? Buddhism or Taoism perhaps?"
Tanuki frowned briefly, almost not noticable, and just began to laugh it off. He actually didn't like questions like that and didn't honestly expect someone to ask that question right back but now that he got into this situation he just shrugged, answering: "Neither one nor the other... If there's something up there it's got a crappy sense of humour. I've given things like religion up..." He noticed he didn't really sound like a guy just out of his teens saying something like that, so he just decided to take a long draw of his bottle, almost choke on it and cough for half a minute. "Sumanai,...", he excused a mite hoarsely, "Do you really drink nothing but water...?", he asked Hecate.

The loud sound that was the after shock of the woman suddenly disappearing awoke Ajani abruptly from his sleep, he immediately stood up with both hands planted on the smooth surface of the bar, his eyes wide with shock and breathing heavily. ".... I fell asleep? at a club huh..."
Realizing what he just did Ajani sat back down, and composed himself. After that he looked around to see the familiar looking woman talking with two new faces he hadn't seen before. "Hows it going?"

Hecate
"Do you really drink nothing but water...?"
Hecate blinked, quirking her thin eyebrows at Tanuki with a faint smirk. Waving her bottled water near her face, she answered his question with another;
"What do you think?"Not expecting an answer, she sipped at her water until she'd drained it empty. Waving down the bartender, she ordered another water, muttering to put it on her tab.Upon hearing a vaguely familiar voice, she turned and stared at Ajani."Huh, I'll be damned; it's you. I must say it's been a while, hasn't it, Ajani?"

Toran felt his phone vibrate and finally took it up, he looked rather anoyed and took it while rolling his eyes and with a sigh, it couldn't really be heard because of the music but clearly seen. Y-yeah, I know. What!? Listen you told me... No that's not what you said! I told I would call tomorrow so... What are you saying? Hey... Hey! Don't you hang up on me! Toran lowered his phone and mumbled something and shook his head. He then leaned a bit over and took his glass of beer and chuged half of what was rest down and placed the glass down before leaning back. Sorry about that... So who is you're friend over there? Ajani, was it? Toran made a small smile, clearly not liking the fact he had put on a show like that with the phone-call. He started to take his pack of cigarettes and look around a bit and with one hand turned it around and the other giving it a few pats to get one out. Lighted it with a lighter and a few seconds after he took a drag from the cigarette and had put both the lighter and pack away again.

Tanuki
"What do you think?"
Tanuki just shrugged as he finished the last bits of his drink, leaning his back against the counter. The guy who just woke up - who the hell could sleep here?! - didn't really draw his attention. Mostly because said attention was directed at the club's entrance. His eyes were getting wide as he uttered a surprised "Yawai!" and turned around, hands quickly grabbing some money out of his pocket and putting in on the counter. "Somebody asks, you ain't seen me, right?", Tanuki said to Toran and Hecate, as his skin was changing to a very dark tone. Also his shoulder-long hair changed into dreadlocks, even his clothing was changing slightly. "I have to go. 'Scuse me.", he said, now in a pretty good jamaican accent, turning around and leaving. As he was heading for the exit, he greeted a guy in a black suit who was walking towards the bar, and who seemed a mite confused about that.
The Count
"Hello. Get me a Gin & Tonic please. Half and half.", Ryan ordered, as he reached the counter and sat down on a bar stool. "Hey you people don't happen to have seen some small Japanese chap with fuzzy black hair? He happens to still have something of mine...", he asked the group standing at the bar.

Kleopas
Having just arrived in New York, the first urge Kleopas felt was that of wanting to drink. Enquiries around the Templar HQ had seen several recomendations to this club 'The Underground' so here he was. 'Great why do I always feel to be dressed out of place' he remarked to himself, referring to the newly issued uniform he was wearing. However with a grim determination he presented his VIP pass to the bouncer and procceded to enter the club. 'Sir there are no weapons permitted inside the club, you will have to leave your sword at the coat depository' The bouncher pointed out. Sighing Kleopas began to unbuckle the simple blade from his belt before handing it over and recieving a receipt from the man behind the despository's desk. Carrying on, abeit feeling a little more ill at ease without his sabre, Kleopas made his way round an exiting Jamaican before heading towards the bar. As he arrived, noting the three strangers already stood there, he overheard a snippet of the conversation 'Hey you people don't happen to have seen some small Japanese chap with fuzzy black hair? He happens to still have something of mine...",' Suddenly realising that the bartender was impatiantly waiting for him to order and how it must look like he was snooping into someone else's conversation Kleopas smiled and looked her way 'I'll have the strongest whiskey you've got'

"Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuckity fuck fuckkkk, FUCK!" Laylei said as she sang aloud following the baseball tone she turned nasty as she walked behind the bar in a rage. Her stomach and chest were shiny and obviously wet, with some sort of drink Lay couldn't tell. All she knew was that it was really quite strong. The smell burned her nostrils as she pushed one of the bartenders out of her way, bee-lining to the small sink they had stationed behind the bar.
Lay tore apart paper towels, wetting them quickly as she dabbed at her chest in aggravation. Luckily for her she was wearing black, but she didn't know who exactly spilled the drink onto her, so she was deprived of the satisfaction of throwing the son of a bitch out of her club. Which just irked the tattoo'd woman.
In order to keep calm though, she simply turned around, hip bumped a female bartender taking an order and smiled at the new face, hearing his order. "Strongest Whiskey, got it darling."
With that she turned around, poured the drink and set it onto the bar. "Pay up or present VIP, darling. And I will know if it's fake or not, trust me on that." The woman said, raising her eyebrow expectantly.

"Pay up or present VIP, darling. And I will know if it's fake or not, trust me on that." announced the woman behind the bar expectantly. Not wanting to seem hesitant obeying the new arrival's order, Kleopas produced a $20 note and the VIP card which he had obtained a few hours earlier, besides judging from the newcomers entrance behind the bar, he concluded that not complying would result in things turning ugly and having left his sword behind at the entrance Kleopas doubted he would come out of any theoretical confrontation with all of his teeth intact. Those Bouncers obviously meant buisness. " Here you go" passing the required items over the counter " Dare I ask what has managed to annoy such as lovely person as yourself?" Even as the words left his mouth, Kleopas thought 'Well in for a penny, in for a pound' and started preparing possible escape routes through the club in case things did indeed turn south. However this place seemed prepared for such eventaulity and all obvious routes were blocked. In a short sentance if things went astray he was screwed.
* Note; sorry for the delay I had to attend a family member's wedding and as such I was mostly incapacitated throughout the weekend ^_^

Hecate
Sipping at her water, she remained silent and observant, taking in the newcomers and drunks-the drunks were to be expected, this was a club after all, but the newcomers almost always brought surprises with them. It didn't take her long to drain her new water bottle half-empty, and she decided that she needed to breath sometime, so she set the bottle down on the bar top, taking in a deep breath of the warm, circulated air.
"Somebody asks, you ain't seen me, right?"
"I wouldn't dream of it."Although her voice seemed disinterested, the light dancing in her flat brown eyes said otherwise. With a wave, she watched as Tanuki made his way from the bar and out of the club."Heh, an interesting man, to say the least." She chuckled, frowning a little at Toran's smoking, but otherwise saying nothing about it. Seeing the Count take a seat not too far away, she gave him a polite nod of her head, her eyebrows going up a little at the mention of 'some small Japanese chap with fuzzy hair'."Sorry, can't say I have."
Seeing Laylei move behind the bar, clearly in a rage, she gives the woman a friendly smile-well, as friendly as Hecate can be- and goes back to drinking her water, casting a side-long glance in Kleopas' direction.Color me interested.
" Dare I ask what has managed to annoy such as lovely person as yourself?"
Hecate had to fight not to burst out laughing, although she snorted a little of her water up her nose in the process. Wiping her mouth with a nearby napkin, she hides a smirk.
" 'Dare you ask' indeed, heh."

" 'Dare you ask' indeed, heh."
Kleopas turned as he was addressed by a slim woman with flat brown eyes and black hair with white tips.
" Yeah I was beginning to wonder about that myself, but as usual my talkative side always gets ahead of me, its kinda what got me into the Templar order, that and my skill at being in the wrong places at the wrong times" explained a smiling Kleopas.
'Yes exactly like last time' he muttered as he thought back to a few months before. Thinking back to that fateful day still made him sudder abit inside but the alternative to being here where he was right now, well he considered it a much worse option and at least this way he could control the majority of his own actions. Until the handler that was ever watching decided that enough was enough. Freedom did come at a cost he had been told. "Anyway I didnt mean anything negative about it, my names Jo... Kleopas by the way" extending a hand in greeting.

Upon hearing Kleopas openly declare his faction, her lips turned into the first real smirk of the night. Then she burst out laughing, high and clear even above the pounding music of the club. It didn't take her long to fall silent, wiping away a stray tear of mirth from the corner of her right eye. Catching her breath, she went back to smirking at the stranger.Oh these new people; I always get a kick out of them.
"You're a gusty one, you know that?" Pausing to sip at her water to wet her palette, she looked back at Kleopas, looking him up and down."Just as I suspected, you're new to this, aren't you? Not many people go around declaring whose colors they fly."
"Anyway I didnt mean anything negative about it, my names Jo... Kleopas by the way"
"And polite to; color me curious."Taking the extended hand, Hecate gives it a delicate shake before letting go and going back to clutching her water bottle."Well, Jo, I'm Hecate," With her water bottle, she gestures over at Laylei"And the tattooed lady you were talking to is Laylei; she owns the place so try not to get her too mad."

"Just as I suspected, you're new to this, aren't you? Not many people go around declaring whose colors they fly."
" You could put it that way" Kleopas replied " However I can't exactly say I joined them by choice and besides if I try to be subtle I usually get myself hurt somehow". Smiling to himself, he proceeded to down the whiskey that was provided to him by the hostess Laylei. Ordering another he continued "What about yourself?, you seem the type of person I would'nt want to get onto the wrong side of" He may look abit green when it came to this faction buisness, but it wont stop him from at least trying to get on well with people while he has a few drinks. Anyway he'd better enjoy himself before his handler figured out where he had gotten too, they could be a right pain when a initiate went and did something that showed they still had some independance left.
